A while ago, I bought this blank covered journal for myself and started drawing a little scene on it of me and my girls. (You can see how long ago this was by the fact that Maeve is certainly no longer a tiny, swaddled baby, and Stella would never now be caught dead in a dress.) The stained glass-inspired background happened over time, and I liked thinking about how I would need to construct the image and connect the lead cames, as if I was actually working with glass. This week I finally finished it.
