Scenes from the past week, taken in my roving studio...
So many days, so many floating set-ups of paint and brushes and scraps of palettes strewn across the table... cleared away for dinner only to be pulled out again immediately after the dishes were done (or not done, as the case may be). I exiled myself from my desk in the office because these jackets demanded space to stretch out in, and while there were times when I regretted not being able to close the door and drown out the kiddos when I was working, for the most part I was very happy at the dining room table. Stella and Maeve would climb up onto my chair for a periodic visit and ask about what I was doing, Chris would sit across from me puttering around on his laptop and reading me ridiculous headlines of the day, there was the Neko Case radio station on Pandora and the brand-new Craftsanity podcast (episode 113) to keep me company...
Tomorrow night is the auction. Fingers crossed that these go for a respectable amount of bank! I'll post some pics of the finished jackets on Friday.
Have a lovely night, everyone!
