The auction for Maevie's school was super fun. My mom was my date, which was lovely. And the jackets sold! Hooray! I had intended to take pictures of the jackets all gussied up with their auction tags, hanging from their little wire stand, but instead, when I was getting ready I very purposefully left my camera at home. I do that sometimes, usually at the most "important" events, and then regret it later, but I just don't interact with new situations very well from behind a lens.
Luckily, the rush to finish them wasn't so intense that I couldn't snap a few pics beforehand. So here they are/were, all finished and ready to go off into the world: {Moon and Stars Tattoo, 6-12 mos}

And the big surprise is that my mom won the pirate ship jacket back for Maeve to have as her very own, which is great because that was the one I was least ready to give up on. Now I can keep working on it! (Cue evil laughter, and cut to close-up of Chris' face looking terrified...)
